Brandon Niznik, the star of last month's Progressors release, also known as Wise Owl, was my roommate when I first moved to Los Angeles years ago. Him and I both had separate studios across the apartment from each other where we'd make dub and reggae all day long. At the end of the day, we'd meet in the living room for beers and marathon NEXT GEN. I'm very proud to present his extensive contributions to this release, and it really feels like things have come full circle with this one.

STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION is probably the best TV show ever made. It provokes so many questions about our place in the universe and presents moral quandaries that relate directly to our own lives. It's absolutely perfect Sci Fi the likes of which we'll probably never see again. So let's boldly go, shall we?

Also, it's my 30th birthday this weekend!! I'm celebrating the only way I know how, by releasing music that my friends and I made together!
